December 20, 2013: As part of our holiday giving this season, Windermere Property Management/Lori Gill & Associates donated $5,000 to the YouthCare Orion Center in downtown Seattle. Currently, the Stranger publication is sponsoring a drive for YouthCare with a goal to raise $100,000 this holiday season and we were honored to participate via our donation from the Windermere Fountation. The Stranger has set up a “contest” between fans of local music groups Pearl Jam and Macklemore to see whose fans can raise the most money. We split our donation in the name of each group with $2,500 each. Operations Manager Cory Brewer visited the Orion Center this morning to take a tour of the facility with members of their staff and present the gifts in person…and what do you know, it was a room full of Pearl Jam fans.
