In honor of Windermere Community Service Day, we are excited to give back and join in the fun at Camp Korey for a 5th year! This Friday the Lori Gill & Associates team will be participating in our annual volunteer day at a place that is near and dear to our hearts.

community-serviceCamp Korey was founded in 2005 by the family of Korey Rose, a fun loving teen who lost his battle with cancer at the age of eighteen. Inspired by Paul Newman’s SeriousFun Camps, Korey’s father Tim decided to create a safe haven for families impacted by childhood illness and serious medical conditions. It is their mission to provide a place for these to have fun, grow stronger and build leadership skills. In 2012 Camp Korey became an official member of SeriousFun Children’s Network. Each year they serve thousands of children and families for retreats, week long camps, weekends and more.

The Lori Gill & Associates team will once again be rolling up our sleeves and spending a day helping to get Camp Korey ready for the first wave of summer campers. We will helping to get the beautiful property ready to host thousands of deserving children and families. At Lori Gill & Associates, giving back to the community that we serve is one of the most rewarding things we do. We are always inspired by the great work they do at Camp Korey and we look forward to doing our part to help make their mission a reality.
